This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to apply quality standards in the workplace. The unit also includes the application of relevant safety procedures and regulations, organization procedures and customer requirements

This course will give students the knowledge in advance driving, straight ambulance driving and how to deliver patient safely to the hospital without violating any laws or putting thy-selves to danger.

Objectives 

The objectives of this guideline are to: 

• Review due diligence considerations for selecting and acquiring medical devices and equipment 

• Define key aspects of an equipment management program and offer risk strategies to consider when developing such a program 

• Discuss the necessary components of a well-defined incident response procedure 

• Offer guidance related to responding to equipment recalls and documenting essential information about medical devices and equipment 

• Provide general recommendations for managing risks associated with the operation of onsite laboratory and radiology equipment 

• Review proactive strategies for addressing patient-supplied medical equipment.

This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to terminate and connect electrical wiring and  electronic circuits.(40 Hours.)


This course covers electromechanical systems, their terminology, and how the components function together. It examines the magnetic and electromagnetic properties of dc motor components, motor operation and classification, the creation of mechanical energy by ac motors and how electromagnetism and induction produce rotation. After completing this workshop student will have a good working knowledge regarding ac & dc motor operation, application, maintenance and testing focused on best-practice procedures.


This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to test electronic components. It includes competencies in determining the criteria for testing electronics components, planning an approach for component testing, testing the components and evaluating the testing process.
